My Story

Blue Shore Creations is a small, handmade jewelry brand located in Baltimore, MD

My name is Ashlee, and I am the brains and creator of all things Blue Shore Creations. Right now I use mainly polymer clay and resin as my medium. I run my small business from my home office, here in the Baltimore area. Everything is made in small batches, around 5-15 pairs each time. No two pieces are every identical, creating that one of a kind feel.

I originally started making jewelry 2 years ago. I was going to school full time for my Master's degree in IT with a specialization in Homeland Security Management, and running a house flipping business as the same time. Both were incredibly stressful and overwhelming, meaning I needed an outlet. I started playing with wires, stones, beads, resin, and clay; and that's how all of this started. I've been working on bettering my brand ever since. 

My grandmother has been my guinea pig, biggest cheerleader, and advisor throughout this whole process. She's the type of person that will tell me if I'm doing something wrong, what to change, what she dislikes, and tell me take a break if needed. She's also the one behind the collection I am most proud of, Annie's Collection.

Although I've been at this for a while, I decided to finally buckle down and take on the new endeavor of creating a true website for all of my creations. I mean I probably should have a long time ago given I have two IT degrees, am I right!?
